Professional Designations:
- Lagree Method Trainer
- Indoor Cycling Instructor
Teaching Background/Experience:
I hold a BFA in Ballet from the University of Cincinnati. While dancing, I was always looking for ways to move my body more efficiently and prevent injury. I found that group fitness was my favorite way to exercise, so after graduating college and a few seasons with a professional ballet company under my belt, I began my journey into the fitness world! I have had many different fitness jobs, from teaching dance classes for all levels and ages, to working at the front desk, to managing a studio, to teaching dance cardio and barre classes, and I am thrilled to be working alongside the incredible trainers at Studio Lagree while also teaching indoor cycling for Flywheel Sports.
Why I love Lagree and what to expect in my class:
I was obsessed with Lagree after my first class because it was so challenging and different than anything I had ever done before. I love that the Lagree method targets smaller muscles that are so important with strength and alignment, and of course how the class never gets easier no matter how many times I go. I also love that Studio Lagree has diverse and enthusiastic clientele. There are so many modifications to every move which makes the workout great for all levels. In my class, you can expect lots of anatomical cueing, smooth (and fast!) transitions, and lots of core and oblique work. I believe that music inspires movement, so expect a fresh playlist that is a mixture of all different genres, remixes, and throwbacks. I hope to inspire every person who comes to my class to leave feeling stronger, more positive, and hopefully a little sore!
