Teaching Background/Experience:
Keeping a healthy and active lifestyle has been a priority of mine for my whole life; I’ve been playing sports for the longest time, including volleyball, soccer, and basketball. After a back injury that happened while playing volleyball, I was constantly looking for ways to strengthen my core and be more mindful of the exercises and workouts I was doing and tried a number of different gyms and methods. I found Lagree by accident and began working the desk at Studio Lagree in September 2015, taking classes every chance I could. I took the plunge and started instructor training in the summer of 2016 and fell even more in love with the method and haven’t looked back since!
Why I Love Lagree and what to expect from my classes:
I remember the first time I took a class, I was sore for the next 5 days – I was hooked. I love the intensity of the Lagree Method, as it pushes you to your limits, and the fact that you can get a total body workout in 50 minutes blew my mind. Additionally, I saw real changes in my body and have yet to plateau, something that was missing in my previous work-outs. In my classes you can expect a traditional method of Lagree: I love the moves that seem the simplest, but push us to the max, and filled with pulses, slow counts, and mindful breathing, paired with a great, heart-pumping trance/dance mix or remix! There is nothing more satisfying to me, as an instructor, than seeing a client feel the shake and burn that the Lagree method is known for! I love asking clients for class requests or feedback, so always feel free to let me know. See you in class!
