Teaching background:
I began teaching indoor cycling over 5 years ago. I had been taking classes at SLT in NYC for years at this point, as a form of cross training while I was dancing. After I quit dancing and had been teaching cycling, I was asked to join the team at SLT and was a part of the teaching team for over 3 years. When I found out I would be moving to Chicago I reached out to the Studio Lagree team for an audition IMMEDIATELY because I couldn’t imagine a world without Lagree. The rest is history.
Why I love Lagree:
My favorite thing about this method is that you can NEVER be comfortable. There is always a way to make it more challenging. Even more than half a decade later, classes still challenge me like the first time. I’m also a fan of stretching and lengthening muscles as they are engaged and/or contracted. In my class you should expect challenging (and FAST) transitions to keep the body and mind guessing. I’m also a fan of challenging the resistance – not just with spring load but also body placement and alignment.
