Teaching Background / Experience
Always loving to stay active, I played tennis and ran track and field in high school, but found my passion in dancing while at University. During my studies, I came to find my love of teaching dance and have been doing so for 7 years. After moving to Chicago to pursue my professional dance and teaching careers, I came to fall in love with the Lagree method. After a year of working the front desk I decided to become a certified trainer, and the rest is history.
Why I love Lagree and what to expect in my class:
As a professional dancer, conditioning and supplemental training is key to success. Never a fan of the traditional gym/workout culture, the Lagree method and class structure was so inviting while still kicking me into shape. Lagree pushes me both mentally and physically every class I take as I continue to find ways to challenge myself, and I never have to worry about that plateau. In my class, you can usually find a heavy dosage of glute and hamstring work (my favorite muscle groups to work on!), with fun music and whacky anecdotes to distract you and make you laugh throughout class. And if you catch me on a Sunday, you’ll be welcomed to my weekly tradition: Supine Sunday. Can’t wait to see you there!
