Studio Lagree, the hottest workout from Hollywood, known on the inner circuit as “Pilates on crack”, has opened a new studio in Canary Wharf.
If you’re not familiar with their signature M3 class, let us enlighten you. It involves 50 gruelling minutes of contorting the body on a sliding carriage similar to a reformer. Except it’s not a reformer at all, but a Megaformer, its evil twin with cutouts and handles that allow you to make fast adjustments as you race through the sets.
Set to a thumping playlist with the lights down low, the emphasis here is on speed and intensity in pursuit of razor-sharp abs and a magical endorphin rush.
The warm-up alone will leave you dripping in sweat.
Not content with launching the Megaformer workout, Studio Lagree have thrown some boxing into the mix… And we’re not talking about a watered down “Piloxing” style hybrid either!

Next door you’ll discover Studio K-O. A boxing lair with quality bags, wraps and gloves from Rival Boxing. There’s no hire charge for gloves, but you are required to wear boxing wraps for a class that involves boxing technique mixed with HIIT exercise.
The studio opened on Monday and is offering two weeks of free classes for both the Megaformer and Studio K-O Box-fit classes. Book your slot here.
