TEACHING BACKGROUND + EXPERIENCE
My love of acting and singing led me to my first teaching job as a musical theatre instructor when I was 16. The opportunity to combine my passion for fitness and teaching came when I began to train under master trainer, DJ Laperle at Studio KO.
WHY YOU LOVE LAGREE + WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR CLASS
I fell in love with Lagree when I went to my first class on the Megaformer in NYC, three years ago. As an avid runner and fan of high-impact group workouts, I was humbled and challenged by the slow, controlled and specific movement that Lagree requires. I quickly became obsessed with the technique, and empowered by how strong and focused I felt throughout and after each workout. When I started working as a receptionist at the studio, my passion for the method grew further, as I learned from the dedicated and motivating team around me.
Now teaching at Studio Lagree, my goal is to create a welcoming environment where my clients can feel challenged, informed and supported in their own exploration of Lagree. You can expect a high-intensity, but low impact (the magic of Lagree!!) 50 minutes with an emphasis on technique, precise blocking to help you reach the incredible feeling of muscle failure and great music to keep you going. My desire is to push everyone to expand their physical and mental limits and bolster their energy, so they leave feeling stronger, empowered and eager to come back for more!
